Geoff’s professional career has been devoted to assisting small and medium sized enterprises build their businesses. Geoff started his training with an international accounting firm after graduation from the University of Toronto. His passion in working with owner-managers who could benefit from his knowledge, expertise, and experience to improve the value of their business led to his decision to join a local accounting firm.

In 1985, he felt that he could better understand the challenges that small business owners faced if he was a business owner himself and therefore started in his own accounting practice. After nearly 15 years of running his own practice, he merged with Williams & Partners in 1999 because of the commitment he saw to owner-managed business. He also felt that his clients would be better served if they could draw on a larger base of knowledge and experience.

Geoff has acted as an external advisor to many owner-managed businesses and for many non-profit organizations and charities, helping them to build value and plan for the future.
